Comments  427 Agri Wheel Loader We know that a wheel loader is a key part of the on-site process. That’s why the new JCB 427 is built on a foundation of quality and reliability. It’s also designed to perform great feats of productivity, offering superb performance without the time-consuming inconvenience of a DPF. Perhaps the biggest change to this wheel loader is the introduction of JCB’s latest Command Plus cab, which means, quite simply, best-in-class comfort, visibility, ergonomics and quiet operation. Expect superior serviceability and safety too.     Features .igg{float:right; padding:10px;} .tdg{border-bottom:1px solid #dedede;} .ttl{width: 100%; height: 30px; background-color: #eeeeee; line-height: 26px; padding-top: 2px; font-weight: bold; color: #fff; margin-top: 10px; color: #df0101; font-size: 14px; clear: both;} .list ul{list-style:disc; padding-left:10px;} .list li{width:80%;} A QUALITY PROCESS     The JCB 427 wheel loader’s articulation joint has a heavy-duty box section, a heavy-duty center pin and an oversized bushing, as well as twin taper roller bearings on the bottom box joints. This setup can easily tolerate vertical and horizontal loads.     Finite element analysis, as well as extensive endurance and rig testing ensure superior structural strength and durability. Cold cell testing guarantees starting performance down to -20°C.     High tolerances and accurate location of pins and bushings are assured with JCB’s precision machining techniques. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes like robot machining, precision paint technology and innovative assembly techniques help to achieve the very highest levels of build quality.     A solid cast rear counterweight protects the rear of your JCB 427 wheel loader – including the rear lights and cooling pack – from damage. Hoses are neatly routed and clamped through the articulation joint, well away from any pinch points.     The new front chassis is more durable than ever; it's been strengthened with additional ribs and gussets for maximum service life. For additional protection, there are impact-resistant fender edges and trims fitted.     This wheel loader has integral steel fluid tanks for the ultimate in leak protection: a far superior solution to the plastic tanks favored by some competitors. COMMAND PLUS     The ROPS/FOPS structure on the 427 wheel loader is redesigned; A pillars are the same width as the rear of the cab, providing a larger interior and panoramic front windshield. Switches and auxiliary controls are now on the right-hand A-pillar.     There are two full color LCD screens to navigate the operating menus, one of which can double as a monitor for the optional rear-view camera. Using your JCB’s simple, dedicated menu interface is easy with an intuitive optional rotary controller.     As standard, the JCB 427 wheel loader is equipped with heated external mirrors that can be electronically adjusted from inside the cab. Convex mirrors are also available to give the best possible field of vision.     An all-new air venting system boasts nine demisting vents and six operator vents to maintain visibility and operator comfort at all times. It also operates at a reduced noise level.     All controls are seat-mounted, even moving with the seat suspension. You can also select the control system that’s best for your operators: choose from single lever joystick or multi-lever configurations, all using electro-hydraulics for the ultimate in precision.     After extensive research into operator ergonomics, we’ve devised the Command Driving Position, which boasts the very optimal control layout for a multitude of different driver shapes and sizes. DRIVE SAFELY     On the new JCB 427 wheel loader, you’ll find the rear-view mirrors mounted in front of the A-pillars for improved visibility. Interior mirrors, heated exterior mirrors and hood mirrors combine to offer excellent views around your wheel loader.     Access steps on this loader are inclined and equally spaced, complemented by well positioned grab handles for three points of contact at all times. Non-slip walkways and additional grab handle options allow for safe movement around the machine.     Door hinges are now mounted on the A-pillar of the JCB 427; this simple change has created much better access via a larger and wider door aperture. It also means you can access the rear of your loader safely.     Full fender coverage flaps have been carefully designed to keep forward spray to a minimum for all tire options. This increases safety and decreases debris build-up on your wheel loader.     Engines fit with a DPF can pose an increased fire risk because extreme heat can be created in regeneration mode. The new 427 doesn’t use a DPF, so this is no cause for concern.     The cab is isolator-mounted, compliant with ROPS/FOPS standards, and positively pressurized against dust. You can choose from fresh air or carbon filters as well. EFFICIENT BY DESIGN     The JCB 427 wheel loader's Auto Idle feature returns the engine to 700rpm after 30 seconds of inactivity. Eco Mode caps engine speed at 1,800rpm for reduced fuel consumption. Productivity nonetheless remains formidable.     A hydraulic cooling fan automatically reacts to ambient temperature and adjusts the fan speed to optimize energy and reduce fuel consumption. An additional benefit of this setup is lower noise levels.     Our torque lock-up 6-speed transmission option gives up to 100% efficiency in all gears for improved fuel consumption on your wheel loader. Closer gear ratios provide lower engine speed in each gear.     Wheel speed braking means brakes rotate at the same speed as the wheels for heat and drag reduction, as well as improved economy. Unloaded spool valves in the valve block, meanwhile, mean that arms lower under gravitational forces, improving efficiency.     JCB’s innovative, variable displacement pumps feed a load-sensing valve block which only consumes power on demand, providing precise, efficient loader control.     JCB Smoothride load suspension limits shock loads and therefore reduces material spillage and structural stress, as well as increases operator comfort. The speed of engagement is adjustable from within the cab using the latest state-of-the-art Command Plus controls. LOW MAINTENANCE, LONG INTERVALS     It’s easy to get to the engine on a new JCB 427 wheel loader with a large automatic opening single-piece hood. Accessing the diesel and DEF tanks is similarly straightforward via the lockable grill at the rear of the machine.     Heating and ventilation filters are conveniently located behind an external access panel. You can check washer fluid level, engine oil and coolant from inside the cab, with all other routine checks and grease points located at ground level.     A cyclonic engine fan scavenge filter provides four times the filtering capacity of a standard air filter. It's a longer life system, with fewer components and a higher level of efficiency, making for better engine protection.     Most Tier 4 Final engines use a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) that can cost a lot of money and time when it needs replacing. Our engine is DPF-free, reducing your service and run costs.     By using top components in the JCB 427 wheel loader (Cummins engine, ZF transmissions and axles, Rexroth pumps and Parker valve blocks), we’ve built in long service life as standard. PRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE     Powerful twin variable displacement piston pump hydraulics can circulate a massive 264 l/min for fast cycle times and excellent multi-functioning capability on the JCB 427 wheel loader.     The Cummins QSB 6.7-liter engine achieves maximum engine power (133kW) and peak torque (841Nm) at low revs for excellent response. A variable geometry turbo gives increased performance at low engine speed for improved cycle times and tractive effort.     Choose from three axle options:     › Standard differentials for hard standing ground conditions.     › Limited slip diff for soft, muddy terrain with reduced traction.     › Open differential with an automatic locking front axle differential for varied ground conditions.     You don’t need to waste time and money replacing diesel particulate filters (DPF) on your loader; the engine meets Tier 4 Final legislation using only exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). This also improves fuel economy.     The selectable loader arm detents mean operators can set loader arm height limitations, return to dig and float functions. This wheel loader therefore enjoys improved safety and productivity.     The innovative electronic management can perform progressive clutch cut-off for efficient, productive loader control. This feature controls tractive effort via the transmission, diverting maximum power to the loader hydraulics and reducing service brake wear and fuel consumption.
