The Puma 185 features a 185 hp engine with an additional 45 hp power boost to get you through tough conditions or steep inclines.

CVT Transmission
The optional CVT engine features double clutch technology for smooth and efficient operation. An Active Stop capability allows for ease of stopping and starting tractor on inclines. Minimum creeper speed is 66 feet per hour. The automatic Mode saves fuel and allows you to focus on other tasks.​​​

The Case IH Puma 185 has 12,787 lb (5,800 kg) hitch lift capacity with an optional 15,200 lb (6,894 kg) hitch lift capacity. The high capacity compensating hydraulic system pumps a total 47 gpm (178 Lpm), up to 56.6 gmp (216 Lpm) with the addition of an optional 39.6 (150 Lpm) main implement pump. ​

The Puma 185 shares the same MultiControl armrest feature with the Steiger and Magnum series tractors. This controller places the controls you need at your fingertips and features intuitive design and backlit buttons.The armrest moves with the seat, allowing you to watch and control the implement at work.
